Explanation of services and why referral rates exist...

Please understand that First Choice Sitters is a referral service.  Meaning that First Choice Sitters does all the leg work for YOU the PARENT.  First Choice Sitters goal is to provide a safe and convenient way for parents to select a caregiver.  Keep in mind that the sitters are Independent Contractors NOT employees of First Choice Sitters.  HOWEVER, all sitters associated with First Choice Siters are heavily screened and have extensive credentials(experience, degrees and specialized education) as well as being CPR and First-Aid certified. 

First Choice Sitters arranges dates/times, conducts background checks, interviews, reference checks/calls, scouts out the most qualified sitters and selects the best possible match for each family.  First Choice Sitters wants to provide the best childcare possible and with that in mind referral rates are needed to keep us a first rate childcare service.    

***THERE IS A 4-HOUR MINIMUM on all sitting jobs

**** First-Choice Sitters does ask the clients put in requests as soon as they know they need a sitter for a certain date, at least a week or two in advance, that way assuring we can find you a sitter to fulfill your needs.

→ Registration Fee as follows:

•A one time charge of $55.00 and a signed agreement are needed before any services can be provided by First Choice Sitters. This fee is paid directly to First Choice Sitters. After the first fee, the customer will pay a nominal referral fee for each sitting job.

•For Nanny services a one-time fee of $115.00 and a signed agreement are needed before any services will be provided by First Choice Sitters. After that another fee depending upon what type of nanny is needed will be agreed upon.

**If this fee is not paid, First Choice Sitters will not be able to help you with your childcare needs.

→Nominal Referral Fees:

Referral fees are based upon the amount the family uses the service, the hours involved, and time of day(ie-daily, weekly, monthly etc).  Please call First Choice Sitters at (704)363-4417 for more information about these fees.

PERMANENT PLACEMENT FEES:

•Full-time Nanny (35hr+ weekly) $1300.00

**this price can be broken down into quarter's, half a year or full-year contract**

•Summer-time Nanny $350.00

 

**IN ADDITION

→An extra charge of $10.00 for short notice requests (less than 48hr notice)

*only applicable if able to place a sitter

→Referral fees are double on all major holidays (Valentines Day, New Years Eve, etc etc).

→Referral fees can be paid by Cash, Check, or Money Order.

•Each customer will receive a detailed invoice at the end of each month

→First-Choice Sitters requires a credit card number on file in case of returned checks, which then will be charged a fee of $25.00.

→$10.00 fee for short notice time change (less than 24hr notice).
